Earlier this year, before an incredibly busy Summer, I was invited to collaborate on a styled vintage shoot at Muncaster Castle. Muncaster is an amazing place to visit seeping history from every nook and cranny, and to be allowed access to parts of the castle that members of the public never get to see was such a huge privilege.

This post is a throwback to Autumn last year (yes I am still way behind on blogging) when I was invited to lend my skills to a styled shoot taking place at the Laura Ashley Belsfield Hotel in Bowness on Windermere (you can also see some of the images from the shoot in their current Wedding Brochure).

It’s been sooooo long since I’ve written a blog post, and with a few much needed days off this week I though it was about time that I corrected that error.

When we scheduled the Bridal Couture Shoot at The Rampsbeck back in March we always intended to use the grounds of the hotel as well as the inside. I love a good photoshoot and I love working with like minded professionals to create something special, but I hate having my picture taken which is why I choose to work behind the camera. I normally get a little on edge when I notice a camera lens waving in my direction, particularly when I’m working and trying to concentrate, so I normally politely ask that I’m not photographed. After all, who wants to see my fat head in the middle of a picture?!
