Wedding Makeup
Every bride wants to feel special on her wedding day, look radiant and be admired by her guests. Professionally applied makeup will give you that confidence and the perfect finish for your photographs. A good makeup artist understands how makeup looks on camera and how to apply it with longevity in mind.
You may decide that you want two different makeup looks for your wedding day. One for the daytime and then something more glamorous for the evening. In which case I can meet you later in the day at your reception venue. To add a little bit more night time glamour and freshen up your make up for your evening celebrations.
We can discuss your wedding makeup during a pre-wedding makeup trial. This usually takes place around 8 weeks before the date of your wedding. After a chat about your wedding makeup I will carefully select the skincare and makeup products to complete your makeup look. Allowing time for little pauses, here and there, for you to ask questions and ask for any changes to the makeup as it is applied.
Once finished I will make some notes and take some photographs to create a record of your finished makeup design. If you change your mind about something after the makeup trial just let me know. Any adjustments can easily be incorporated into your finished wedding makeup on your wedding day.
The makeup trial is also a great opportunity to have a pre-wedding meeting. We can discuss the timings for getting ready on your wedding day and any relevant details for the other suppliers that I will be working alongside. You can also ask any questions that you might have too.
On the day of your wedding or civil partnership I will arrive at the agreed time and location to help you get ready. After the careful preparation and massage of your skin I will apply your wedding makeup for you. If I am looking after your bridal party I will follow your instruction on how you want their makeup to look. I can also easily work around the needs of your chosen hairstylist whilst you are getting ready. You will be able to sit back, relax and enjoy being pampered. While having your wedding makeup applied by a skilled and methodical professional makeup artist.

Every picture taken is the record of a moment and every portrait can capture a moment of perfection. Professionally applied makeup can often compliment the skill of a photographer, the pose of a model and the vision of a stylist. I am available for editorials, photoshoots, lookbooks and film. Any project can be accomodated. My work has been published online, in magazines, local and national press.
